吴公子的十九字诗

朗费罗的诗人和他的歌的十九字诗

记得那年听到刘文正唱的《诗人和他的歌》
感觉那歌词就像首诗，原来是朗费罗的诗，
朗费罗説诗人的诗，源于上帝创造的大地：
春天鸟儿、夜晚星星、雨水溪流、寂静声，
葡萄果实、松林潮水、船帆海洋、唇之笑。
诗人的歌是蒙胧的未知，赞美並荣耀上帝，
听从日追逐而夜惊悚的天使的声音说：写！

1. 《诗人和他的歌》(The Poet and His Songs)为美国诗人亨利•沃兹沃思•朗费罗(Henry Wadsworth Longfellow，1807年─1882年)的诗，吴公子的中译及原文如下：
“犹如春天鸟儿来临，
我们不知来自何方；
犹如夜晚星星来临
自气层深处；
(As the birds come in the Spring,
We know not from where;
As the stars come at evening
From depths of the air;)
犹如雨水来自云层，
而溪流来自地面；
犹如突然间，低声或高声，
于寂静之声外；

是祂，而不是他，的展示
他唱;和他们的名声
是祂的，而不是他的；和赞美
和荣耀一个名字。
(His, and not his, are the lays
He sings; and their fame
Is his, and not his; and the praise
And the pride of a name.)
有声音白天追逐他，
而晚上惊悚他，
而他听，必须听从，
当天使说：‘写！’
(For voices pursue him by day,
And haunt him by night,
And he listens, and needs must obey,
When the Angel says: ‘Write! ’)”
2. 1976年，刘文正演唱的《诗人和他的歌》歌词改自部分朗费罗的诗，克瑞斯作曲，歌词如下：
“像春天的鸟儿不知来自哪里
像黄昏的星儿来自天宇
像夏天的霖雨它是来自云里
像清澈的溪流来自土地
像秋天的落叶它是来自枯树
像累累的果实长在树梢
像冬天的寒风它是来自北方
